Indiana Women's History Association, Inc. |
- The mission of the Indiana Women's History Association is to ensure that the history of all women in Indiana is preserved, commemorated, and made accessible for present and future generations.
The association also works to provide leadership, service, and support to protect records pertaining to the history of women in Indiana. It encourages women and organizations to save their archives and to donate them to a suitable repository such as the William Henry Smith Library at the Indiana Historical Society.
In addition, the association seeks to promote the appreciation, understanding, and development of Indiana women's history, including the use by professional, public, and private scholars and students of the archives and oral histories in the collections of IHS and similar institutions.
